Care Managers

Debra D Feldman, MSW, LCSW, CMC

Debra is a licensed and insured clinical social worker, and she received her Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan in December, 1984. She received her B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from Washington University in St. Louis in May, 1983.

Debra established Debra D. Feldman & Associates, LTD. in November, 1991. As a case management company servicing the elderly and their families, Debra has had the pleasure of working with a variety of clients and has handled a variety of geriatric issues. Some of the areas she handles for seniors and their families are: assessments, family consultations, assistance with finding caregivers, assistance with locating and moving to a retirement community or health care facility, setting up community services, helping seniors coordinate medical appointments and medical information, sorting through insurance claims and other paperwork.

Debra acquired her Certification as a Care Manager through the National Academy of Certified Care Managers in 1998. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers; the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers; and the Buffalo Grove Chamber of Commerce.

Debra has been elected for 2012 to the office of President Elect for the Midwest Chapter of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers.  Debra is also a trained volunteer as an Alzheimer’s Association Community Representative.
